We make a varied selection of jams, marmalades, chutneys and jellies.
We are constantly looking for local Lancashire produce to use within our recipes. Most of the fruit and vegetables grow within just a few miles of Oswaldtwistle. Others we harvest from the Lancashire hedgerows. We then research the recipes that would be most suited to what we have available. Some of the best and slightly more unusual ideas have come from the old traditional cookery books of the 1800's and early 1900's
All of our range contains only natural ingredients. The lemons used in the jams and marmalades are freshly squeezed. We also use home made apple pectin to achieve a slightly better set. You will find that this may vary with each small batch we make, this in no way will affect the flavour though
